Sold me the wrong ticket for my…
Sold me the reverse ticket for my journey three times. Didn’t offer refund. I ended up buying a paper ticket. Complete joke.

Changing ticket date ? cant change it by more than four days.
Originally booked to go to London, but due to the strikes I had to cancel my plans and chose a later date.
Train line online gave me to option of cancelling with refund (for a £10 fee) or changing the date of the tickets. I tried to move the dates of the tickets, but it wouldn’t let me change it to any date later than July, which is only four days after my initial ticket.
Seems a shame that I’ve had to pay the £10 fee for a refund (I’m still awaiting to receive). The insurance policy seems a little pointless too! If I could’ve changed my tickets further than just 4 days after my initial ticket, I wouldn’t have needed to pay the fee.
The refund process seemed simple enough though! My tickets were delivered to them Friday, had the confirmation on Tuesday. Just awaiting funds (it’s now Thursday, so well within the period.

I find this app very easy to use and convenient to have. Tickets and railcards stay in your account so it's basically all-in-one.

Requested a refund off this company…
Requested a refund off this company back in April, sent my tickets back to them as requested chased it up twice providing tracking details. Still claim they're looking into it.
Don't bother, use Trainpal or go direct.

My Train was cancelled , got an email I could rebook or get a refund , trying to rebook or refund since I got the email but just a message pop's up "this ticket " cant be changed or refunded

Trainline is excellent at keeping the app and website up to date and almost every time I am provided with the service of getting from my location to the location requested. However, the trains have often been busy, sometimes too busy to find a seat which makes a very unpleasant journey, especially with the scare of Covid and trains are often delayed. Good, but could do with some improvements in my humble opinion.

What a great easy to use app Trainline is! I’m 68 and no genius with Tech either.
Especially love that you can keep going back and changing dates and times without starting from Scratch.

Although not possible all the time, and I understand, I have found a customer service agent very understanding. I was honest and polite and I received kindness back!
